Traveler Style: Fabulous Faux Florals with Nearly Natural

I'm all about having some vibrant green in the room because it really makes a space look more alive. But seeing as how my job takes me on the road for long stretches, keeping indoor plants alive has been a challenge to say the least. I've had a couple over the years, and try as I might, they keep croaking. It was getting ridiculous constantly trying to revive tired plants when I'd return back from an international production leg.

So, you can imagine how stoked I was to discover faux when I moved to my new place last year. I went to my favorite local florist to get the decor sorted, and was blown away by how far it's come over the years. Gone are the cheapie looking roses with that terrible foam core. They look totally real now a days!  And there are some really cool options to pick from that go perfectly with my Spanish revival/boho vibe.

I'm in love with this new potted cactus I got from Nearly Natural florals, and I think it really ties the room together. Plus my Catholic guilt doesn't have to kick in because I'm no longer tossing neglected plants after a shoot.
