How Chocolate is Made on the Island of Grenada
Anyone else here a total choco-holic? Come on now, don't be shy!
Last month I got to head down to Grenada to check out how chocolate is made from bean to bar, and it was a pretty fascinating process.
One of the most delicious dishes I got to try there was cocoa tea, which is essentially a version of spiced hot chocolate that's not at all as sweet. Grenadians give it a unique kick by adding locally grown cinnamon, bay leaves, and nutmeg, the latter of which Grenada is known for growing, too.
